Maia is officially standing. She first did it a few weeks ago, just briefly letting go with something nearby to lean on. But, now, she just figured out that she can stand on her own without something in arms reach to lean on.
She’s a little unsure …
… but quickly realizes there’s nothing to worry of.
OMG, she’s such a darling girl. She looks very happy and proud of her accomplishment.
The scary thing is, a mere few days after these were snapped, she started walking. She’s already terrorizing the house and can accelerate to something resembling “running” (but her gate isn’t quite right for a proper run). She did the same thing with crawling — didn’t start doing it until she was good and ready to do it right.
